Week One!

Starting a charity from the ground up is both exciting and overwhelming, and this week marked the beginning of an incredible journey for Time for Health. Our mission is simple: to make wellbeing and health accessible to everyone, especially those facing financial hardship, stress, isolation, poor health, or barriers to support. We believe wellbeing should never be a privilege, and this first week has been all about turning that vision into a reality. One of our biggest milestones this week was the start of our Charity Commission registration application. Starting this process has involved carefully considering our charitable purposes, governance structure, and long-term plans to ensure that Time for Health is built on strong foundations. We drafted and finalised our charity constitutions, a significant milestone that sets out how the charity will operate and the principles that will guide our work. Alongside this, our trustees completed their trustee declaration forms, helping us establish the governance framework needed to move forward with our registration. This week also saw the launch of our Instagram page, giving us a platform to share updates, connect with our community, and spread awareness of our mission. We are excited to use social media to document our journey and engage with people who share our passion for accessible wellbeing support. In addition, we set up our GoFundMe page to begin raising funds that will help us work towards our goals. Every share, donation, and message of support means a great deal to us as we take these first steps. Looking back, it’s amazing to see how much we achieved in just one week. While there is still plenty of work ahead, we are proud of the progress we have made and excited for what comes next. Thank you for joining us at the beginning of this journey.
